Thanks to the wonders of facebook, an old friend asked me to dj his and his partners 40th birthday party in Bicester. I hadn’t seen him in over 20 years so it was great to see him again after all that time and also slightly emotional too! From playing football together in our teenage years, he’s now a father, incredible how time flies by.
The evening was great and I had an absolute blast playing songs by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Stone Roses, right up to current chart hits – a real mix of music covering a number of decades and wide variety of genres but think I catered to everyone’s taste and also received lot’s of lovely compliments from the guests with a number of thank you’s for a great night…can’t ask for much more than that!
Just hoping it’s not another 20 years till we see each other again!
