A new experience for me but dj’d at an infants school last Friday; wasn’t quite sure what to expect but set up in record time and had a blast! Needless to say, it was a mixture of songs between the current chart music and some older songs such as ‘Cha Cha Slide’ and my personal highlight was the sing-a-long to Disney’s ‘Let It Go’ from Frozen and, if you’re a parent with appropriate aged kids, I am sure you are familiar with it!
It certainly divides kids though – boys do not like it, girls love it and had them all singing the words at the top of their voices and majority even had on various Disney princess dresses, definitely bought a smile to my face. And I was home by 8pm which was a very nice change from usual gigs that don’t get going till past 8pm!
